Title: The Greatest Showman on Earth: Harry Houdini and His Death-Defying Acts
Contact: Julie Grynwich, 269-469-2933
Location: New Buffalo Township Library
Description: Born Erik Weisz in Budapest, Hungary, Harry Houdini became the greatest escape artist in history. Determined to create one death-defying stunt after another, he drove himself to physical exhaustion and left audiences mesmerized. He escaped from locks, chains, handcuffs, jails, straitjackets, and water-sealed containers. But he could not escape death at the age of 52. Please join us for a look at the “greatest showman on earth.”
Presenter: Tim Moore, Lake Michigan College. Tim’s in-depth examination of people and events in American history have made him a favorite at our Community Forum presentations.            269-469-2933
